Disneyland Sanitation Department July 1955 Pic #2
Staying on Main Street, here is a nice image of one of the white wings of the Disneyland Sanitation Department sweeping and keeping the park clean. The most famous white wing who worked at Disneyland was Trinidad who was featured on his own postcard. White wings was the name of the custodians on Main Street who were dressed in white linen suits.

See, if this had been my picture I would not have been able to resist mentioning the poo.
Minor clarification: The term 'White Wing' or 'Whitewing' was the popular name for a street sweeper (especially one who gathered horse droppings) in the early part of the 20th century - 1900 to about 1930. Just to be clear, it was not a name created by Disneyland. Climbing off the soapbox now, class dismissed.
Is it true that they really could fly?
