Mystery Gate

I think this is the gate at the very end of New Orleans Square, but it could be also a gate in Adventureland. Hopefully one of you out there in blogland will know and remember this gate. This image is from the same contact sheet that has the images Iposted on Tuesday and Thursday.

By the way I love the Landscaping Love People bumpersticker on the workers locker.

That is definitely New Orleans Square.

Is this the end of the cul de sac passage that used to separate PotC building from Jungle Cruise? The area's been considerably modified since then.

Agreed. It's the alley way from POC. I believe it's used for the exit? But it's definitely off POC.

This was the extended queue for Pirates up till the construction of Indiana Jones. In one pic you can see the faint outline of a fountain, that is the oblisk room at the begining of the Indy Queue now.

Great to see the past like that.

Sorry to post this here, but check out these great color shots from the 40's that were run from the Denver Post

That was so cool to see! I had a feeling it was New Orleans Square but I'm glad you weren't relying on me, LOL!

Imagine the look of folks standing in line only to see those doors open to a much longer queue. For some reason, it was always fun to see the surprise on their faces. Disney did a great job of finding places to house people in small areas.

I had that shock once, to see those doors open and "miles" more line to go.

Thanks.
