Souvenir Friday- Johnny Horton Johnny Freedom Single
Johnny Horton is best known for the novelty hit song The Battle of New Orleans. He was a very popular singer in the vein of Johnny Cash during the time period. Freedomland was popularized by a record album and the hit single was Johnny Freedom. The song was popular enough for a single to be released. The best part of the picture sleeve is the map of Freedomland on the back and the caricature of Johnny Freedom.

Progressland, why doesn't that surprise me :-) "In 1814 we took a little trip along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip..." I love that song!
Ugh! Infringement-Land gets no respect from me today. Look at that blatant ripoff of the berm track.
Did this sad sack have any original ideas? If this guy was the real creative force behind Disneyland, then it's Disneyland that should look derivative.
