Hills Brothers Interior Part 2
More interior images of the Hills Brothers Coffee shop. If you read the comments from yesterday, one of the commentators writes about the water dispenser seen in the first photograph.
Thanks to Katella Gate's post from yesterday, now I know where this was. I remember the Egg House or Hut or whatever...I did eat breakfast there a couple of time and I miss it.
Nope. That's not the one. This is also shown in the 2nd picture and is out in the open. The kitchen window is behind the photographer. Thanks for sharing these. Looks to be taken a few years before my arrival.
This was often our first stop after the obligatory ride around the Park on the SF&DLRR. I loved the place and miss it badly.
One time my family was in the indoor front dining area (all the outside tables were taken) and a group of DL planners came in with blueprints galore and took over the reserved rear dining area to discuss what they were going to change around the Park. I only assume they were from WED, but I didn't really know what WED was back then. Oh, how I wish I could have been a fly on the wall in that meeting.

The Hills Bros. Coffee Shop closed because people no longer enjoy coffee. We've all moved on to Zima and other sophisticated drinks.

Gads, those chairs are beautiful! I'll take a gross. Or at least a bushel and a peck. Deliver them next forntight - Candlemas at latest.
Wow, happy me. Breakfast with Mom and Dad after the mad dash to the Matterhorn...
Thanks.
