Viewliner and Tiki- What A Combination

Another couple of pictures from Stereoviews. The first is a nice view of the Tomorrowland Viewliner in the Station. I still do not understand the reasoning that the Tomorrowland traion was Pink and the Fantasyland train was blue. Maybe it was the fairy godmothers from Cinderella?

The next image is a favorite of mine. I wonder where this tiki is living now?

WOW 2 treats! Awesome Viewliner shot, I've always wondered about that path around the north side of Snow Mt. rare shot indeed. Hey I see some folks walking up the Mountain!

The Tiki is precious, he calls to me...

Any picture of the Viewliner is worth its weight in gold. The real Santa Fe RR train diesels had Red (for passenger service) & Blue (for freight service) colors. This might have something to do with it, since they were a sponsor.

Not a 100% sure though, because the TL Viewliner train color was actually more of a salmon color than pink or red.

I'd like to believe that a cast member took that tiki home when he was removed from the park. Maybe he is still in somebody's backyard (hopefully well maintained)!

Viewliner Ltd.'s theory sounds as good as any for the color mystery. Or maybe the colors were just chosen rather randomly!

I just got a few "new" shots of that same Tiki sculpture! And of course, I'm digging the Viewliner shots!

The Viewliner photo is interesting in that, wihle nothing in the photo is still there today, the walkway is basically in the same place, with the same curve around Matterhorn Mountain.

Major- Like Uti?

It's amazing how few shots of the Viewliner can be found. I know it did not last long, but while it lasted it must have been pretty cool. I would love to see an interior shot some time.
