Welcome LAPD Families
I just ran across this nice set of slides that I have had a long time hidden in a box. The slides were taken when the LAPD had a special day at Disneyland. The first image shows the Fred Gurley at the Main Street Station with the neat banner over the left hand tunnel. The slide captures a rather large crowd.

We always used to go on Fireman's night. Always nice to have small enough crowds to do everything. The only down side was never being able to go onto Tom Sawyers Island or the canoes. It was great that they used to be able to do the private party nights like this, especially to honor certain groups.
