California Alligator Farm

Once an amusement park across from Knott's Berry Farm featured alligators, crocodiles and caimans. The park opened in 1953 at this site and closed in 1986. The animals were moved to Florida on a 707 airliner to live in a private estate owned by the inventor of Nautilus exercise equipment. The images are very dark as it appears that the family visited the park after a full day at Knott's Berry Farm.

I always wanted to visit this park as a kid, but Mom was petrified of alligators, so no soap.

Thanks for the pictures showing what I missed.
