Lonely Trash Can
Near the Matterhorn and Motorboat Cruise sits a lovely although lonely trash can. I like the shield graphic with the dust pan and broom.
Great photo. You can see the tarps over the popcorn wagon in the background and the tracks of a motorized cart that maintenance used to drive that rounded the corner a little wide to avoid that lone trashcan.
I also like seeing the little graphic of a broom and dustpan. Nice touch! I wonder if it is a subtle nod to Cinderella? That broom looks too familiar.
I love the chain link fencing with wooden supports and decorative trim that seemed so prevalent in Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and the Disneyland Main Gate back in the day. It worked!
I never noticed the broom and dustpan on the trashcans before. What a cool detail! Thank you.
What a great picture! Assuming these were documentary made by Disney?
This little picnic area between Monstro and Alice is kind of a no-man's-land, never showing up in pictures, since everyone aimed in every other direction for scenic views. It's rare to see the place where everyone stood to take the other pics.
