Horsing Around at Freedomland

The operators of Freedomland definitely took many ideas from Disneyland. One of the ideas was to have horse transportation in the appropriate themed areas. The images show a gorgeous black horse (I think a quarter horse) and his handler. The horses were used not only in the farm surrounding the Borden barn, but also were the motive power for several attractions. The first image features one of the handlers with the horse.

Next image is a portrait of the horse.

The odors of the farm. I can almost smell these images.

I'd say that first picture is of a mule. Pretty big ears for a quater horse.
