Columbia Rigging

More somewhat artistic photographs from Disneyland. This time the photographer was riding the Columbia and focused on the rigging. I should mention that these slides are marked October 1974, so the fashion in some of these images are classic 1970s. First up is a shot of the sails.

Next up is the forward rigging with a backside view of the figurehead and in the background Tom Sawyer's Island.

I'm really enjoying these "somewhat artistic" photographs you're posting. I hope we see more of this batch. Thanks for posting.

When did the Columbia stop using it's "sails"? was it because of Fantasmic? Fantasmic sure did kill so much of the atmopshere of New Orleans Square and the Rivers of America. I miss the night Riverboat cruises.
