Autopia- August 4, 1956

Two views of the car line up at the Autopia load area. Based upon the number of employees, the ride did not make very much money in the early years. Still, I like the composition of the first photo with the cars and the buckets from the Skyway.

Yes, that first one is an interesting angle. In fact, it shows the Skyway station oriented to the Autopia in a different way than I always thought.

Just because it was adequately staffed does not mean it was not successful. In fact we know it's a success because it's been there for 56 years. We gotta shake this anti-payroll mentality that's shaking down our society. Fight it!

I'd like to stroll out there and go for a spin!
