Souvenir Friday- Pendleton At Disneyland

One of my favorite shops is the Pendleton Woolen Mills exhibit in Frontierland. I love the look of Pendleton shirts, especially the vintage 1940s to 1960s shirts as well as their Indian and National Park blankets. Over the years I have picked up any Disneyland related items and non-Disneyland related Pendleton items such as signs and boxes. The first brochure is a vintage 1950s listing sportswear for her, all made by Pendleton. Inside is a little history of the Pendleton Woolen Mills company and their Disneyland store.

This is a small folder from the 1990s before the Pendleton exhibit closed. I picked this up myself during that time period.

Good grief, I've never seen one of these, and you just picked it up in the store in the 1990's?? What a great item!

I actually have a blue garment bag from the Pendleton Woolen Mills shop; date unknown.

This was one of those stores you don't miss until it's gone. I'm not a clothes horse, but I did occasionally by Pendleton shirts here in Frontierland the mid 70s. I didn't think much of it at first (it started out as a thing to "please Mom") but I came to like the fact that the clothes I went to school in were actually from the park.

I loved the Pendleton store in Frontierland. I always walked through it when visiting. So "Fronterlandish" and cozy. Wish I had a Pendleton shirt with a Disneyland tag.

My older brother bought a shirt at Pendleton in the mid-80's (I was standing there watching) and he still has it. It doesn't fit of course :D

A nice piece of work from a genuine company--Missed to be sure.
