World's Fair Wednesday- Russia at Brussels 1958

Moving to 1958 and Brussels the site of the first Space Age World's Fair. Today the focus is on Russia. First up is a view of the Russian Pavilion.

A closer view of the building with a nice fountain out front.

A rare view of the interior of the pavilion with Sputnik and Lennon.

Final image for today is a nice night image of the modern glass and steel building.

I can never get enough of NYWF pics. Very Nice!

I seem to be unusually busy these days, as you may notice by my lack of blogging.

So, If I dont' get a chance later... I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. Thanks for all the great pics, Richard.

Be sure to arrive at the Soviet Pavilion early!

Tickets for Show Trials and Party Purges are limited and sell out quickly -- no fun watching the summary executions without at least hearing the closing argument diatribes.

Refreshments available across the hall in Collectivist Commissary, now serving Gulag Gruel. Remember, a hungry Commissar is a slim Commissar!

These are beauties; interiors of the Russian building, awesome. From what I've seen, this is the building I would have most liked to visit. And I'm no commie!
