A Christmas Trip to Disneyland December 1964 Part VI

More Jungle Cruise action. First up the original photographer marked this as Leopard on Rock but this is actually a Mountain Lion from Nature's Wonderland.

The next three images are from a commercial set of the Jungle Cruise. First up is Hippopotamus Pool.

Could you see that mountain lion from Nature's Wonderland? I always thought he was just sort of visible from the River, but I'm not really sure.

Major, you had a shot of the lion not too long ago, with the light fixture more visible because the trees were younger. That was visible from the river, I remember seeing the lion from one of the boat rides.

Connie, the aerial shot is a professional slide, may have been staged with a crane to get a vantage not available to ordinary visitors.

These are really great. i love seeing familiar things from odd angles and odd things from familiar angles.
