Souvenir Friday-1968 Inside Disneyland Newsletter

Continuing on my trend of the week of 40 years ago this month comes the cast member publication Inside Disneyland. I have featured one of these prior to this post so I hope you are familar with the newsletter.

One thing that this newsletter reminds me of is how lame some of the "Wonderful World of Color" shows were! "Sammy the Way-Out Seal". I'm bringing "way-out" back, all the kids will be saying it.

It's also interesting how being a Disneyland employee felt like being part of a friendly community. From what I hear, it hasn't been like that for a long time.

'Closed Monday and Tuesday' - reminds me how much fun it used to be to visit on those quiet days and talk to the guards and groundskeepers. Thanks for the reminder.
