Frontierland Train Station

Two nice early views of the Frontierland Railroad Station. The station that is seen across the tracks, just out of reach of us normal guests was once in use. The first view shows the station with the elevation sign and the ticket booth for purchasing those long souvenir train tickets. Off to the left there appears to be an early attraction poster which unfortunately the photographer did not focus on.

Here is the Frontierland Train just departing the station. At this time, the theming was of a freight train with a consist of stock cars.

And just because it is such a cool photograph, this image is of the Main Street automobiles in use. I really like the attraction sign, I wonder where those are now?

Wow, those are three fantastic photos, particularly the first two. I have NO nice images of the old Frontierland Station (it's so little!), and that shot of the Freight Train is really great.

Neato shots, awesome Train Station photo, it looks like the sign for the tickets is the same font that was on the actual tickets, nice touch! In the 3rd photo, I've seen that lady before; she haunts my vintage Disneyland dreams along with those evil red-headed twins from Daveland.

Love the old station house. So odd to see it on the guests' side of the tracks!

It is great to see that Town Square has still remained somewhat true to its old self (you can see the top of the Opera House in that last photo).
