Souvenir Friday- 1964 New York World's Fair T Shirt

A great kids t-shirt from the 1964 New York World's Fair. The shirt features the two kid mascots of the fair in front of New York City. I wonder if anyone has made modern adult t-shirts with this vintage graphic.

How does something like that survive in such good condition after more than 50 years?! I think the kids were called "Peter" and "Wendy".

What a great shirt. Like the Major, I'm amazed at the condition of this after more than fifty years - I wish I'd held up that well. Someone needs to start reproducing these in adult sizes and selling them online!

This is so bizarre to see this shirt online. My grandparents visited the NY Worlds Fair and bought these t-shirts for my sister and me (she is 57, I'm 55). There used to be a photo of us wearing the t-shirts but I can't locate it. I just thought I'd search online to see what they looked like again and came upon your post. Thanks for posting this! Where did you come across this t-shirt?
