Signs Along the Walkway

In the early years of Disneyland, the walkway between Frontierland and Adventureland featured minimal theming and landscaping. The walkway led to a small bridge over a stream that connected the Jungle River Cruise with the Rivers of America. In order to advertise the new attractions, Disneyland used small signs as well as a large cloth banner promoting the new Tom Sawyer Island, Keel Boats, and the War Canoe. In the background is the Chicken Plantation restaurant.

I love that this is the follow up to the July 23, 2015, post. The photographer grabbed one side of the sign on that date, and this catches the other side. Are you able to see (darken the photo) if this side of the sign is different since it faces a different way? Just wondering!

Always your pal,

Echoing Matthew's comment, it's great that this seems to be the reverse angle from a few days ago. I love seeing all this rarely seen Adventureland and Frontierland signage!
