Souvenir Friday- TWA Los Angeles Disneyland Travel Poster
One of the most iconic travel posters for Disneyland is the 1955 poster created by TWA to promote flights to Los Angeles and the newly opened Disneyland theme park. The graphic is used on several other items including flight brochures, flight plans, and contest forms. The poster features graphic representation of many iconic structures in Disneyland including the Rocket to the Moon, Sleeping Beauty Castle, Frontierland Stockade, Jungle River Cruise launch, and Main Street Station with a TWA airplane flying overhead.

I worked as a graveyard shift janitor at Disneyland during summer, 1966. It was the year for one of the many upgrades to Tomorrow Land. It was very sad to see the original Rocket To The Moon on its side, behind Main Street.
Matterhorn, I have heard that there are different versions of this poster; one that is all 4-color litho, and another that is part litho, and part silkscreen. Mine looks like the lettering (and maybe the stripes on the rocket) are silkscreened, though I can't be sure. I'm curious what yours looks like!
Mine is 4 color litho with no silk screen. The poster also measures 25 by 15.5 inches. There are different sizes of this poster as well.
