Dans Are Very Dapper at Disneyland

Two nice snapshots of the Dapper Dan's singing group at Disneyland in 1960. The first shows the group mugging for the camera. The members are John Borneman (tenor), Roger Axworthy (lead), T.J. Marker (bass), Ted Nichols (baritone.) The group sings in a modified barbershop quartet style entertaining guests with some slapstick comedy and dancing.

A more formal pose is the Dan's hanging out in the Upjohn pharmacy. Interior shots of Main Street shops and exhibits are rare and this one shows the old pharmacy display quite nicely.

The cast member information comes from this website on Dapper Dan's.

Great pic. That wall behind with the oval window is still visible in the shop today. I wish the pendant lighting had stayed behind.

I think I still have my little vitamin bottle from the pharmacy.

I've got a bottle too. The vitamins were used a long time ago.
