Alice and Dapper Dans Early 1960s

Two images featuring very colorful attractions at Disneyland. First up is a nice view of a caterpillar car making the trek down the leaf pathway to the end of Alice in Wonderland. The Matterhorn in the background is very nice. This attraction has recently been rehabbed to meet the safety requirements set by Cal-OSHA for fall protection.

Next up are the Dapper Dan's riding their multi seat bicycle down Main Street. Unfortunately a little blurry, this image still shows the Kodak signs nicely. Tomorrow there will be more Dapper Dan fun.

I think that they should have lined that Alice in Wonderland winding path with a reinforced cinder block wall.

I'm with the Major on this one. You can't be too careful where safety is concerned. And for good measure - a sturdy hand railing along the top of the new safety wall.

Has anyone seen the completed ride? It was still wrapped up when I visited a few months ago.

I'm "curiouser and curiouser" to see pics of the finished effort. Hopefully, it hasn't gone further south due to the safety "upgrade".
