Security at Space Mountain Construction

Continuing with photographs of Space Mountain Construction. The first image shows a Disneyland Security Officer observing employees and the construction. Based upon the smiles on the construction workers it is quitting time.

The next image is a great image of the dirt work required for the attraction. I like the background with the Matterhorn and Rocket Jets in the background.

Notice how the soil seems pretty sandy. Not a rock to be seen. Now I see why all the water areas are concrete or clay.

Nice second image. It looks like part of the Space Stage area and entry area of Space Place.

Both images are so unusual and cool! If I just saw that first one out of context I would probably not even think that it is Disneyland.
