Souvenir Friday- Haunted Mansion Gravestones

To promote and merchandise the Haunted Mansion, Disneyland had the Randotti company create gravestones which cast members would add names to humorous sayings. The sayings were reminiscent of the humor seen in boot hill cemeteries in the Old West.

Hmm. I'm sure the second tombstone is supposed to read "A dirty Ol' Man.', not ole' which is a Spanish shout of joy.

Maybe it was intended to be Spanish and the tombstone is a celebration of the departure of a stinky person :)

Really? Are these recent? I'll look for them next time I'm at the Park.

When I die I want to actually use one of these as my headstone. Except that somebody would steal it.

Connie...These are from when I was a wee little annoyance (as opposed to now). Late 60's-early 70's. I remember getting it, & being fascinated watching the cast member use "press type" to apply my name.

I bought two different ones in '72 at WDW. The best souvenirs ever!
