A Family Trip To Disneyland May 1956 Part 7

The grand finale of the trip to Disneyland. I hope you like the Dumbo ride as the family took many photographs. The first is of the flying Elephant actually flying.

And another flying shot.

And a couple posed shots showing dad and daughter.

The finale is a nice image of Sleeping Beauty Castle before boarding the fire truck to town square.

I still like the idea of Dumbo's ears moving as he flew! The final photo shows an ice cream vendor dressed in a white uniform just like in those early postcards!

I am reading your blog for the first time. I too went to Disneyland in 1956 ( I was 9 )right after it opened and Walt Disney came out of the Arcade on Main to take pictures with us. It was exciting. Wish I still had those photos but I don't.
