The Original Animation Building at Walt Disney Studios Circa 1939

The building from whence came many classic films, the animation building at the Burbank Walt Disney Studios. I do like the well landscaped grounds with wide paths. I believe Walt achieved the campus like setting he was looking for.

The coolest thing is that this part of the studio still looks very much the same today! It's a beautiful place.

Beautiful shot!! I'm wondering if it might have been taken sometime in the '50s, judging from the maturity of the trees and shrubs -- the film and photos I recall seeing of the studio's early days had 'em pretty small & sparse.

I can't imagine what it was like to be at the Studios then (or now, actually--I just got to drive by the gate once).
