The second image is of a group of mule skinners coming back into Rainbow Ridge. The now hardened and experienced cowboys look like a rough bunch. I wonder if the cast member went as far as to roll his own cigarettes for authenticity.
A collection of images and other items from Disneyland, theme parks and other amusement parks. Also look for images and items I find interesting, amusing or both.

Great catch of the Columbia and Native American together in a single shot. It's very reminiscent of the "Sailing Ship Columbia" attraction poster.
In the second image it looks like the Mine Train tunnel to Nature's Wonderland partially cut off on the right the pic. You can see part of the trestle over Bear Country too. Another great pic. Thanks!
If there was a time machine I would go back and ride the mules. I was afraid of them as a child but I would love to see NW from that perspective.
Not only did that guy roll his own cigarettes, he gave one to the little girl behind him.
It's the little glimpses in pictures like this that are really helpful in establishing exactly where features were in relation to today's Park layout. For example, here we can see just where the juvenile smoking area was before 1977.
