He must have really loved Big Thunder! This was back in the days of film, and you only had 24 (or maybe 36) pictures for a roll.
Big Thunder definitely has one of the most ingenious queues ever. It's like you're being hugged by the ride before you head up to the load area.
Your friend did nice coverage of early Big Thunder Mountain.
Yes, brilliant queue design, I never minded if the line was long and slow moving (as it was in the early days). There was so much to see and the area music track was excellent too.
