April 1961 Disneylander Snow White Grotto
The last issue for Jason...but definitely the last issue of the Disneylander. These magazines are great fun to read with information about vacations, trips and people retiring. Of course the main article is on the opening of Snow White Grotto with Echo Falls as well as an article on the Submarine Voyage rehab.

This Disneylander's are amazing, thank you so much for posting these... I do hope its OK that I'm saving every single page and they might show up website someday soon... (I'll be sure and credit you!)
There's an interesting story about that front page drawing of the Snow White Grotto (by John Hench). The figures were a gift from Italy, but they accidentally made Snow White the same height as the dwarves. Hench cleverly designed the grotto to use forced perspective, so that she appears taller.
Somehow I had never heard the waterfalls referred to as "Echo Falls" before.
I've got a bunch of these too. If you ever want high res scans of mine, please let me know. Would love a high res scan of the mention of the Monorail to the Hotel!
