Three very cool oversize postcards from an international fair in Japan in the 1960s. If anyone knows the date, location and name of the fair, please let me know. The fair looks like it was very fun...with a nice fun zone as seen in the first postcard.
Next up is an overview of the fair, nestled on a nice bay with the city behind it on the hills.
I love the dichotomy of an all girl band wearing plaid uniforms with a space man.
So... we got young Japanese school girls in drum major uniforms, and spaceman chaperons. What's not to like? Oh yeah, these girls are now may mother's age.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are wonderful. I had hoped that they might be from Expo '70 in Osaka, but these are not "futuristic" enough. This one is going to drive me crazy!
