The next shot is of a group hanging out at the front of Tomorrowland. The boy walking towards us has one of the groovy bags and wearing a bucket hat. The design of the entrance and the plantings are definitely groovy.
The last image from this set is of a lady with a fantastic hair do (left over from the 1960s) standing in line for the Matterhorn.
Moving later into the groovy decade, a couple of cute teenagers practicing their driving on the Global moving van.
It appears dad was very groovy. Check out the shirt, shoes and the pose! I am going to start a petition to have Tim from Vintage Disneyland Tickets wear this outfit next time he visits Disneyland.
Groovy dad is awesome! But check out that dude behind him... time to button up that shirt, sir! I have to say that I have gained a new respect for the Disneyland of the 70's.
ReplyDeleteThat guy with the belly hanging out is great. So is the women next to him in the white pajamas or is that her I Dream of Jeanie outfit. Great Stuff!
ReplyDeleteHA!!! That cat robbed Mister Furley's closet! LOL!! I DO however long for some.... SOME.. of the shirt styles that were around back then!
ReplyDeleteThat guy with the Crackerjack Box - I expect him to bust out some "Stayin' Alive" moves. Too funny.
ReplyDeleteYo Disney collector guys...re: the "groovy bag".
ReplyDeleteDo any of you have one of those bags that you could scan and post?
