Continuing with posting the images from the pre-opening film strip, here are three aquatic themed images. The first is of the Mark Twain. I like the construction on the right hand side. It appears the nice dock and structure was not built early but as a last minute item.
The second shows the temple set on the World Famous Jungle River Cruise.
The final image is of everyone's favorite tuna fish restaurant under construction. It appears this was one of the last big structure constructed prior to opening.
patrick, these are absolutely amazing...thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteStunning! What a neat look at the pre-opening days. These are great, and the color is still there after all these years, do you think they are technicolor? THANKS AGAIN!!!
ReplyDeleteReally wonderful, and thanks for the info about the film strip itself.
ReplyDeleteI would think that these have to be Kodachrome since they look so good after so long.
Is that the turntable for the teacups in front of the tuna boat?
I believe that is the turntable for the Tea Cup ride.
