A Disneyland Parade and Noah's Ark

A slide dated 1971 from a later trip by the same family features a moment of a parade. By this time, the costumes are fairly sophisticated and actually appear like the characters.

The second slide is undated but circa early 1960s of what I believe is Children's Fairyland in Oakland California. The color on the slides is amazing!

  1. What a great family, it's like all they did was go to amusement parks!! That shot from Children's Fairyland does have amazing color.

  2. I don't think it is Children's Fairyland, their Noahs Ark looked much different. Might be from a children's zoo or one of the other couple fairylands up in the SF area. Great photo

  3. Could be from Fresno. I assumed Oakland as it was the most visited. I have not seen an image of the Noah's Ark for Oakland.
