Purchase Ticket Books Here 1959

Continuing with the documentation of the signs, here is an image of the main ticket booth sign at the front entrance. Check out the prices and note that a service man in uniform would only need to pay the same price as a Junior. At this time, the Guided Tour was only a year old. By the way, I will take a Jumbo 15 ticket book please.

  1. I remember that my mom kept "The D Envelope". The D Envelope held all the left over tickets from previous Disneyland visits. So when we took a trip to the park, mom had the Envelope in her purse and we would use tickets out of there before tearing them out of our ticket books. When ticket books were discontinued I think there was at least one or two complete books in there as well as a few loose tickets.

  2. Yes, a Jumbo 15 Ticket Book will do nicely. Great to see more sign documentation. Thanks, Patrick.

I recall my folks going to the Park in the 60s, paying the 25-50 cent parking fee,a $2 general admission and just enjoy all the free exhibits and atmosphere. Wish we could relive those days.
