Sometimes I wonder what the photographer was thinking when I look through a group of photographs. Case in point is the three different shots of the peak of the Matterhorn. Were they trying to see how it looked in different light? Did they like the shape of the crag at the top of the mountain? Was the plan to recreate the Matterhorn out of mashed potatoes? I guess I will never know.
There's just something about tall objects; castles, mountains, rockets... people can't resist taking pictures of them.
