Souvenir Friday- Yippie Thanks Letter
As most Disneyland historians know, on August 6, 1971 the Yippie party attempted a large scale protest at Disneyland. This reprinted article was sent to all employees to thank them for their handling of the incident.
Quite a find indeed! And as a veteran of that day, I am kicking myself for not keeping this doucment, among so many others that I accumulated during my tenure as a CM. 43 years ago...and I can recall it all. Wow, what a flashback.

ReplyDeleteSuper cool find. In one version that I heard, Nunis punched one of the Yippees in the nose up by Town Square as he was refusing to leave the park.
