Big Thunder Circa Early 1980s

In the early 1980s, my friend visited Disneyland and snapped a few photographs of Big Thunder. First up is a view of Rainbow Ridge with the tracks in the foreground.

Next up is a slightly closer view of the town with one of the trains in the foreground. The trains are loosely based upon the trains that used to run in this area of Disneyland.

From another vantage spot is the town with the line in the foreground. The attraction at times will still draw this many people to ride.

Final image is of the load and unload area themed to look like a stamping mill.
