Continuing the tour of America Sings, we move into the Gay 1890's. First up is a barbershop quarted of geese singing a medley She May Be Somebody's Mother, The Bowery and After the Ball is Over.
A big finale for this act set in a ballroom singing Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay.
Final act featured many different styles of music, but ended with Rock and Roll with the song Joy to the World.
I always thought the fox in the gay 90's scene was a sharp dresser.
ReplyDeleteStrange as it seems, I miss America Sings more than Carousel of Progress or Country Bear Jamboree. There was just something about this show that really struck me. I loved it when the carousel begin to rotate while the Yankee Doodle Dandy song played.
