Chuck Whelan was a member of Human Resources for Disneyland in 1955 and interviewed many of the early cast members. He had these cuff links made using his Disneyland business card to add a little extra flair to his outfits. He was a fan of Disneyland and actually appeared on the cover of a Vacationland prior to his retirement. By 1975 he had retired from Disneyland.
What a clever idea.
ReplyDeleteNice cuff links – I want a pair!
ReplyDeleteSeems like my dad and my grandpa had lots of pairs of cuff links... I never have an occasion to wear them (or a shirt with French cuffs, either).
ReplyDeleteUnless you are going to the opera, or have your manservant in attendance, French cuffs get dirty too quickly to be of use.
