Two souvenir photographs of Jack and his date for Grad Nite 1966. It was quite an era with skinny ties, sweaters and Jackie-O style dresses. And the dreamy look of lovers was quite the rage. Both of them do look happy, I wonder if they stayed together, got married and had their requisite 2 kids, dog and house with white picket fence? Or did she join a commune and is now a Women's Studies instructor and he is a Vietnam Veteran and a retired Police Officer?
It's Tracy Turnblad right before her figure filled out (from Disneyland churros).
ReplyDeleteAw...I think it's sad that someone's Disneyland memory ended up who knows where...but then YOU found it. Yay!
ReplyDeleteAnd Anonymous, what's with the fat joke? Not cool.
Boy, it does seem like he was just the right age to be drafted; makes you think.
ReplyDeleteSo jackets must not have been a Grad Nite requirement for the guys at this time? Gee, we had to be in a suit or sportcoat in addition to the tie, slacks and dress shoes. Come to think of it....it was like Dapper Day before there was a Dapper Day!
