Three slides of a brother and sister having fun with their new toys in the parking lots at Disneyland. There were no other slides of Disneyland, just these three of the kids in Disneyland. The brother is holding a great toy car about the size of a promotional car model, and the girl is holding a Sleeping Beauty Castle brochure and a toy called Loony Kins that was made by Hasbro. Of course both are wearing souvenir Mickey Mouse ears.
It is the 100 acres of magic and happiness. It WAS the one aspect of the park, most everyone in attendance shared. It was THE destination everyone agreed on. It was a beginning and the end. Happiness is defined on it's very surface; all other problems in life lay abandoned and strewn upon surface. Of everything that was a part of Walt's dream; I miss it the most. From here, the best of days would begin.
ReplyDeleteThose are really fun pictures, but why are those kids leaving so early? School night?
ReplyDeleteDay at Disneyland: $20. Toys to take home: $5. The kids' faces in these pics: Priceless.
ReplyDeleteAt first, I thought it was a joke until I saw the third photo, LOL! Nice!
ReplyDeleteSomehow I missed this yesterday. Fantastic!
