Disneyland Hotel 1957

Three snapshots from a family staying at the Disneyland Hotel. The first two show Mom and then the son posing in front of their block of hotel rooms.

Here is the boy waiting for the tram to take him to Disneyland. The sign next to him basically reads that the tram is a service and not responsible if it is late. The Pirates Den Gift Store sign is very nice.

  1. Guess the original photographer sold the old prints AND the original negatives.

I'm not sure I would have ever guessed that those first two pix were of the Disneyland hotel.

  2. Like Major, I was wondering how you could tell it was the Disneyland hotel. You would think that they would posed near something interesting.

  3. The photos I have came from a dealer in Los Angeles. It is possible the photos were separated from the negs and two
different dealers ended up with them. The only reason I know that all the photos are DL Hotel is the photos are all marked the same and the boy is wearing the same outfit. Unfortunately the printed photos have turned red so Dave's images have better color.

Wow, the prints and the negs reunite! Next thing you know the kid will blog in “hey that’s me!”
