1984 Views

These images show how verdant and green Disneyland was in the 1980s. I know that several of these trees had to be cut down due to age and disease, but other trees were trimmed for the view. I think I liked the greener and large trees. First picture is a view of the Tomorrowland of my childhood.

Next up is the Rivers of America with the Mark Twain, Canoes and the Columbia all in one image.

Final image for today shows the Skyway and its nice landing in Fantasyland.

  1. An interesting study is the history of trees in the park. The growth of the 'greenery' within the park is a special gift from the man who stated that 'trees have no scale'.
