Views From 1956 Part 4
Still on Main Street,a nice view of City Hall. The lady in the foreground has been souvenir shopping wearing a souvenir baseball hat and carrying an early Mickey Mouse balloon.
Next up is a shot taken many hours later, a dusk view of the Main Street Trolley sitting at Town Square.

ReplyDeletePhotos from '55 and '56 really have that "early Disneyland" quality that is the best.
ReplyDeleteThe second photo is interesting to me because of the lighting. I can't imagine you could recreate that today.
