Horses on Main Street August 1956
This family really enjoyed the horses found on Main Street. The first three feature the Horse Drawn Trolley with the horse wearing a sun hat. The boy in the family is wearing his Chuck Taylor shoes.
Enlighten me, please. What are Chuck Taylor shoes? Are those different than regular high-tops? In the last photo, the lady behind the young man - at first glance I thought it was my mom. She had a dress that was almost identical to this one!

ReplyDeleteChuck Taylor are the classic Converse basketball shoes. In the 1970s, they were a New York City Punk Icon shoes...and they are my favorite shoes.
