A rare give away comic book from the National Dairy Council focusing on a fictitious event at Disneyland at the real Dairy of Tomorrow. Published in 1956 by Western Litho (the publisher of Dell Comics, home of Walt Disney Comics and Stories, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Uncle Scrooge and other Disney comic books.) I love the product placement with everything Johnny eats while going through Disneyland are all dairy products.
Wow wow wow! That is a trip!!
ReplyDeleteO.M.G. - this is awesome. I've always wanted to see one of these - THANKS!!!! The product placement is great, no stock scenes! NICE item!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a name like "Johnny Jingles". And I wish I had a little "milk delivery helicopter"! Wonderful item.
ReplyDeleteThat is insanely cool. Speaking as a former hard core comic collector, I have never seen the Disneyland one. I've seen various movie related ones, but this is way cooler.
ReplyDelete...staring
ReplyDeleteDanny Bonaduce as Johnny Jingle
and Paul Lynde as "Mr. Flutterbee"
Very cool.
ReplyDeleteI know that our milk is so much fresher now that it's delivered to my door by helicopter! So much easier than going to the store each week!
