America On Parade Part 3
Last two photographs of this group. The last one of Davey Crockett and Tom Sawyer looks pretty cool, the Keel Boat float is nice.
What kept the performers from tumbling off that float in the second pic? I wonder if this was before the days of harnassing the performers to the float.
I think I remember an auction years ago that had many scale models of the floats from this parade.
