A similar shot from the Exit of the Tom Sawyer Rafts.
A photograph from one of the famous Kodak Picture spots. I like the sign with the cameraman hanging off of the sign.
Another view of the Rivers of America with painters out in full force making sure the lights are a nice green color.
And just because I found it and scanned it, an orphan photograph that should have been with the Views from a Peoplemover, the hub from the Peoplemover.
These are great. Oh Man, the Old Mill and the wide open entrance of Tomorrowland.... These views make me happy & sad at the same time?
ReplyDeleteThe silhouette on the Kodak "Picture Stop" sign looks like Mr. G. O. Graphic.
ReplyDeleteIn the escond photo, is that Elvis in a red shirt, waiting for the raft to depart??
ReplyDeleteDo you suppose that as the painters worked, they hummed "Painting the Roses Red?"....
ReplyDelete"To make the park quite clean
We paint the lamp posts green.
For Walt has said
Not blue, not red,
Nor shades of tangerine..."
Katella ~ that was excellent! :)
ReplyDeleteOh how I just wanna be there right now! Great blog. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat images. And Katella Gate - you are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI like all those built in benches along the planters in the last photo.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me getting older, or is it harder at Disneyland to find a place to sit these days?
