Disneyland in Black and White- Monkey God and Posing at the Exit
Two nice early images of Disneyland in nostalgic black and white. First up is a nice shot of the Monkey God from the Jungle River Cruise.
The second is an interesting shot of a woman posing in front of the exit. I don't remember seeing the landscaped shrub in the right hand part of the photo before.
I can just imagine the photographer of that second shot carefully composing the photo, waiting until the crowd clears and his wife is ready, and just as he is ready to push the button, that woman walks in front of him. Arg!
Major: my thoughts exactly on photo no. 2. That woman is the poster child for the Oblivious American. The sidewalks are practically empty. She could not have missed this set up.
Question about pic 1: When and why did they replace the pagoda style temple with this one?
