First off for opening day items is the photo folder which holds the opening day photographs I have been posting. I love that Disneyland's camera shop also developed film. This must have not been used very often. I have only seen two of these folders.
The next item is an Opening Day gold ticket. The original recipient was kind to only have an entourage of 4, I have seen a ticket where the entourage is 99.
WOW, Nice addition to the opening day photos! I notice that most of the opening day tickets were filled in with that cool grease pencil. Do you have the measurements of the ticket? I've only seen one in person (at DL) and its much larger than you'd think looking at these cool scans. THANKS!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that the holder of a gold ticket could put in a crazy number like 99!! No wonder it was so crowded on opening day. That camera shop bag is awesome!
ReplyDeletehmmm..that's a weird one. i've seen the gold ticket before, but this is a rare variation.
ReplyDeletedoes anyone know the exact breakdown of the ticket variations offered for opening day?
i have the silver 2:30pm ticket and the silver/green 5:30pm and i've seen the pink ticket before. i was told there is a white ticket too but perhaps that's what the infamous forged tickets looked like.
nice stuff!
Fantastic photo folder...never seen it before.
ReplyDeleteThere is also an orange ticket, although Jordan's pink ticket might be a faded version of this one.
There is definitely a white ticket, but the printing on the one I used to have was too nice to be a forgery.
As incredible as it has been to see all of the photos, these are way cool! How much of this stuff is still around?
ReplyDeleteThanx for posting all of this.
orange ticket??
ReplyDeletewhat's the gate time on that one?
No idea. I saw it once at an exhibit in Anaheim.
