Future
Two views of a future as seen at Disneyland. The first is of the Monsanto House of the Future in all it's glory.
The second is more of what the true future turned into. That is, industrial buildings with large HVAC units.
I've decided that the Back Side of Peter Pan is not so charming as the Back Side of Water. (Of course Michael Jackson might have a different take on it.)
I also wonder if the terlets (as my Brooklyn Grandpa used to say) smelled as bad in the 50s as they do today.
Great shot of HOF. Nothing like vintage DL HVAC units. Very nice!
ReplyDeletewhat happened to all the promises? the HOF was just one of many. it was suppose to be much cooler to live here and now.
ReplyDeleteI am always down with the Monsanto HOF shots, that is how I am rolling!
ReplyDeleteI am getting down with my bad self now!
... and a view of the first restrooms along 'Matterhorn Way'. Not a scene captured by most tourists.
ReplyDeleteSo those are restrooms, I was wondering what that small shed was! Makes sense. I've never seen that before...
